וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת־יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת־מַלְכִּי־שׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת־אֲבִינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת־אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃
E Ner generò Kish; e Kish generò Saul; e Saul generò Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab ed Eshbaal.

Eshbaal That is Ish Bosheth, and he is nicknamed “bosheth,” because “baal” is an expression of lordship, and he nicknamed him “bosheth,” an expression of disgrace.
